A simple explanation of what information Save to Learning handles, why it is used, and how you remain in control of the content you choose to save.

In short: Save to Learning only sends learning content when you choose to save it. The information is sent to the webhook you configured and is not collected for advertising or sold to third parties.

1. Information We Handle

When you click Save to Learning, the extension may send the following information from the page you are viewing:

The extension does not intentionally collect information from a webpage simply because you visit it. The capture action is initiated by you.

2. How Your Information Is Used

The information you choose to save is used to help you capture, organize, and continue working with useful learning material.

The captured information is sent to the webhook you configured. What happens to that information after it reaches the configured webhook depends on the service and workflow connected to that webhook.

3. When Information Is Sent

Information is transmitted only when you actively use the extension's save function.

4. Webhook Configuration

You provide the webhook destination during the extension's setup. The configured webhook address is stored locally in your browser using the browser's extension storage mechanism so that you do not need to enter it every time you save something.

You can change the configured webhook through the extension's settings.

5. Data Storage and Retention

Save to Learning does not maintain its own central database of your captured learning content.

Information transmitted through the extension is handled by the webhook destination you configured. Retention, processing, and deletion may therefore depend on the configuration and policies of services connected to that webhook.

6. Sharing and Advertising

Save to Learning does not sell your captured information for advertising purposes.

The extension does not intentionally share your captured content with advertisers. Information is sent to the destination you explicitly configure when you use the save function.

7. Third-Party Websites

The extension can be used while browsing third-party websites. Those websites have their own privacy policies and terms. Save to Learning does not control how third-party websites handle information.

Before saving sensitive or confidential information, make sure you are permitted to transmit that information to your configured webhook destination.

8. Security

The extension uses HTTPS when communicating with secure remote webhook destinations. You are responsible for configuring a trusted webhook destination and protecting access to systems connected to it.

No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Your Control

You control when content is captured and which webhook receives it. You can change the configured webhook through the extension settings or remove the extension from your browser.

10. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated when the extension's functionality or data practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
